Meet Sheriff Skeeter “Stringbean” McGraw — the rootin’est, tootin’est, scowliest lawman the desert ever coughed up, and the proud owner of the world’s most unnecessarily aggressive moustache.

Every day at high noon, Skeeter steps out of the dusty ol’ jailhouse, strikes this exact same pose, and mutters, “Ain’t no tumbleweed gonna sass me today.” No one knows why. The tumbleweeds stopped rolling through in 1987.
With legs so bowed they qualify as parentheses, and arms that look like they’re permanently auditioning for a shadow puppet show, Skeeter’s ready for a showdown — with crime, varmints, or anyone who disrespects his mum’s pecan pie.
And then there’s his deputy, Lenny the Laughing Horse. Donning a Hawaiian vest he definitely found in a suitcase labelled “DO NOT OPEN — 1973”, Lenny’s more of a moral support animal than an enforcer of the law. His responsibilities include:
